For the month of May the Drunk Guys are embarking on their most ambitious project yet: to read a different short story for each day in the month of May and pair each with some delicious craft beers.
To start this frighteningly difficult challenge, the Drunk Guys read The Tell-Tale Heart by Edgar Allen Poe. While discussing the reliability of the narrator, wonky eyes, and the short story format, they sample Still Making Noise by Singlecut Beersmiths and Heinous a collaboration between Finback Brewery and Mikerphone.
The Drunk Guys Book Club Podcast can be found on iTunes, Google Play, Spotify, Stitcher, PlayerFM, Overcast, and where ever fine podcasts can be found. We are also happy to announce being part of the Hopped Up Network of independent beer Podcasters. If you’re drunk enough to enjoy the Podcast, please give us a rating. To save time, just round up to five stars. Also, please follow us on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest. There’s no excuse to miss another Drunk Guys episode, announcement, or typo!
May is short story month, so the Drunk Guys are reading 31 Short Stories in 31 Days. Join us tomorrow for The Lottery by Shirley Jackson.
Check out the Top Five Fantasy Books and Series for Book Clubs. Maybe consider some sci-fi books and Drunk Guy approved discussion questions.
